MET Milestones
Land Availability
The company purchased and has in its possession about 8250 acres (or 3340 hectares) of land within the identified project area in the district of Jhajjar and Gurgaon in Haryana.
Industrial Licenses
As part of the first phase of development the company has obtained licenses for the development of Industrial Colony over ~1703 acres in village Dadri Toe. Japanese majors Panasonic and Denso have already started operations of their units.
Water Supply
Water Source from NCR channel and treated water supplied through an network of trunk pipelines, UGTs and OHTs.
Power Supply
Reliable power supply will be available from the 220 KV power stations to be established within the project area. In order to have redundancy and better connectivity for feeding ultimate load, this proposed GIS substation will be fed through 220 KV double circuit transmission line from 220 KV Bhadana substation as well as 400 KV proposed Farukh Nagar substation.
DMIC
MET falls within the influence area of the Manesar Bawal Investment Region of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and the Government of Haryana has recommended the project as a node of DMIC.
